Waxworms are recognised as being the leading grub-bait across the world and are particularly favoured for trout fishing. But waxworms are not restricted to trout fishing, they indeed attract many species of fish such as Chub, Carp and even Catfish; to name but a few.
In the United States and Mainland Europe, waxworms are used extensively by both professional and amateur anglers alike. Many accomplished anglers have had the advantage in competitive matches by using top quality waxworms. Some have even caught “The one everybody else claims got away."
However, waxworms' renowned use as a successful grub-bait around the world has not, as yet, acquired the same reputation, received as much publicity or indeed equalled the prodigous success in the United Kingdom as it has in foreign waters. We are confident however, that the quality of our waxworms are what is needed to bring the same success for our anglers here in the UK as they have for anglers around the world.
