Waxworms for Terranium Pets

Waxworms are soft-skinned making them easy to digest. They are sweet and sugary making them very tasty and addictive for terrarium pets, such as Lizards, Dragons, and Geckos.   Although waxworms are highly nutritious, they should not be used as a staple food but instead, used as an occasional treat because of their fat content.

However, there are occasions where more waxworms should be fed to boost energy or stimulate weight gain.  If your pet is malnourished after being off its staple food or is pregnant and needs an extra boost, waxworms with their sweet taste and high calorific value will soon kick-start the recovery process.
