Mini Waxworms

Mini Waxworms are a quality livefood that are suitable for the smaller softbills and could prove an essential livefood for hatchling softbills for that critical period of their lives - between two and five days.

Mini Waxworms are simply the hatchlings of the greater waxworm. They are full of the nutritious goodness of the standard waxworm but the mini waxworms are much smaller. There are approximately two thousand five hundred mini waxworms in each of our containers.

As well as being much easier for the hatchling chicks to swallow and digest, another advantage of the Mini Waxworm is, as the hatchling chick develops and grows, so too will the mini waxworms as they continue to eat the food they arrive in.
